Membership

The Society is proud of its broadly based membership drawn from academic institutions, construction companies, public bodies, specialist foundation contractors, consultancies, site investigation specialists and other firms and individuals. Speakers are chosen to reflect recent developments in various fields of interest in ground related issues.

Subscriptions currently stand at £10.00 per annum to cover notices of meetings and light refreshments before hand. Typically eight main meetings are held each year together with the environmental lecture. Often, the society is host to the BGA Touring Lecture and joint meetings with other groups are arranged. Student membership is free! Please print the annual subscription form, complete and return to the MGS Secretary at your earliest convenience.
